Ghosts of North Dakota welcomes your contributions. If you live in North Dakota and you’d like to photograph some abandoned locations, or if you live in another state and you’re interested in contributing photos to help us create a site like this for your state, please use the contact form below to email Troy and get more information.
We’re primarily interested in named places, structures of significance, crumbling infrastructure, locations with a story — perhaps a crumbling bridge, an old post office or train depot, abandoned stores and homes, even old mines and military installations.
Photo Contribution Guidelines:
All photos must be at least 800 pixels wide. No people should be in the photos. Please submit photos of places for which you can give a specific location. If you can only give a vague description of a photo’s location, those photos can be uploaded on our Facebook Fan Page. Please include your comments about the locations photographed wherever possible. Please specify how you would like the photos credited on the site, whether that’s your name, your photography business, etc…
