  3. This is great! It was my Grandfather, Magel John Lund whom homesteaded there! They lived in a sod house, farmed and ranched until they were hailed out and had to send their cattle to Michigan. It was after this that they moved to Manvel, North Dakota and raised their family. My father, Arthur M. Lund (Magel’s son) raised us there.
